The American Dream Must Live on for the World to Live With Hope

The American Dream is built upon natural law.  Your dream is yours to pursue and doing the right thing, hopefully achieve.  The United States is the only country people where the persecuted, the poor, and those from socialist/communist governments may find refuge.  When they follow the legal process to citizenship their dream is there's to chase - and hopefully achieve.  We are the hope of the world.

The American Dream must live on for the world to live on with hope.  The ideals of individual liberties, limited government and the chance of pursuing personal “dreams” are “American.”  When the “true” America dies, so dies the spirit of living man everywhere.  This freedom was embodied in the founders of this country, and all new Americans, including many that fought and died on its behalf.  These new Americans were the impoverished, persecuted, and oppressed people of countries from all over the world.  They came here to start anew.  All of them left family and friends behind in search of something more.  They soon understood that freedom did not come free, not when they were still slaves to the same masters.  They were willing to give their lives, and many did, to stay free.  They had a chance finally, as a land of immigrants, to carve out a new charter on life.

The Founders admired the principles of freedom under People’s Law as practiced by the Anglo-Saxons and the People’s Law of Ancient Israel.  Borrowing from John Locke, Cicero, Montesquieu, and the bible, the Founders created the most comprehensive legal framework for protecting the rights of the individual while creating the strongest economy, military, and political system on the planet.  The Constitution was the framework of government structured to fit the requirements of human nature (Natural Law).

Cicero concluded that once the reality of the Creator is clearly identified in the mind, the only intelligent approach to government, justice, and human relations is in terms of the laws that the Supreme Creator already established.  Cicero called this order Natural Law or “true law.”

A fundamental principle of Natural Law is that the reasoning power of man is a special dispensation of the Creator and is closely akin to the rational or reasoning power of the Creator himself.

The Founders knew a principle of maintaining a government of free people required religion.  All sound religion, the Founders concluded, had five fundamentals:

-There exists a Creator who made all things, and mankind should recognize and worship Him

-The Creator has revealed a moral code of behavior for happy living which distinguishes right from wrong

-The Creator holds mankind responsible for the way they treat each other

-All mankind live beyond this life

-In the next life mankind are judged for their conduct in this one

These fundamentals were so important to providing “good government and the happiness of mankind” that the Founders wanted them taught in the public schools along with morality and knowledge.  Now the flag, pledge of allegiance, and religion are under constant attack.  These fundamental beliefs belong to all world faiths and could therefore be taught without being offensive to any “sect or denomination.”  The Founders looked upon the fundamental precepts of religion and morality as the cornerstones of a free government.

Atheists and the ACLU are constantly attacking institutions for observing religious holidays and traditions.  Everyone is entitled to their right to pray to any God they choose, or in the alternative, avoid prayer altogether.  The choice is yours.  Atheists and the ACLU, if they could, would restrict us from our freedom of religion, due to their own belief in “no God.”  You might say they have a religion of believing in “nothing else” and they are entitled to that belief under our constitution.  However, their belief or lack thereof should have no bearing upon our rights to freedom of religion.  Barring the entrance of God from institutions, whoever that may be to you individually, is the largest reason for the immoral crumbling of our once great country.

As the devil works to keep God from schools and other institutions, we must fight to keep Him present. Even if the godless are successful in removing nativity scenes, God from our currency, God from our schools, and the Ten Commandments, they will never succeed in erasing the Natural Law that provides overwhelming evidence of the one true God.  In each of us, lies the spirit that God instilled.  God made us unique with our one unique DNA coding, appearance, and personality.  We all witness the order and interconnectedness of all living things.  God left many proofs for us to recognize -- making belief easy.
